Synopsis: Set in New York City, Guys and Dolls is an upbeat romantic comedy. Nathan Detroit, an experienced gambler, intends to create the largest craps game in the city while simultaneously escaping the authorities that hunt him down. Miss Adelaide, nightclub performer and Nathan's fiancée, has spent an antsy 14 years waiting for them to get married. Nathan seeks help from fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, who's attempting to conquer the bet of winning over the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown. The only problem is that Sarah wants nothing to do with a gambler, like Sky. The story follows the four characters as they navigate gambling and romance. Guys and Dolls explores themes of love, redemption, vulnerability, and fighting societal norms.
